About Memory Modules
Adlink Technology Memory Modules
Memory modules (or RAM) are an important component of a computer system. They are used to store and retrieve data from the system’s main memory. They are typically small printed circuit boards with chips containing storage devices and special control circuitry. Memory modules are also known as memory sticks, memory cards or memory chips. They are plugged into sockets on the motherboard of a computer and are used to increase the amount of available RAM. Most common types of memory modules are DDR (Double Data Rate), SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM), DRAM (Dynamic RAM), SLDRAM (Synchronous Linked DRAM) and EDO RAM (Extended Data Output RAM). Memory modules are used to improve the overall performance of the system by increasing the amount of available RAM and allowing programs to run more efficiently.
