Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) are small boards with copper lines and electrical components that provide pathways for an electrical current. It is the backbone of any circuit, as it allows the components to be connected together in a reliable and permanent manner. Breadboards are used for prototyping circuits and testing of small to medium size components without having to commit to a PCB design. Breadboards do not require soldering and allow components to be easily removed or changed. Breadboards are ideal for testing of different components to see how they interact before the design of a PCB is finalized.
