It is often used to group multiple wires and protect them from abrasion, chemical attack, and electromagnetic interference. It also helps prevent them from being tangled. Conduit: Conduit is an enclosure for wiring that helps protect it from physical, electrical, or environmental damage. It is made from metal, plastic, or fiberglass and used in a variety of applications to both cover and protect electrical wiring.
