The DS2788E+T&R with Battery Management Stand-Alone Fuel-Gauge IC with LED Display Drivers is a product of the Analog Devices Corporation designed to measure the state of charge of single-cell Li-ion batteries. The device communicates with the host system through a 16-bit parallel interface, and includes a LED driver that can be connected directly to the host system, without the need for additional circuitry. Additionally, the device provides aLi-Ion battery fuel gauge function with integrated linear-accurate parameters, a Coulomb Counter, and an adjustable temperature coefficient. The device also includes extra features such as an Automatic Coulomb Counter, Fault Management, Open/Short Detection, and Sensor Calibration.
