It is a high efficiency, monolithic regulator which integrates a high voltage MOSFET switch and high voltage transformers in a single chip. The device has an input voltage range of 4V to 42V and provides a regulated ±3V to ±42V output voltage range. With a switching frequency of up to 3MHz, it offers high efficiency operation with silent wafer startup. The device has built-in protection features such as cycle-by-cycle current limiting, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. It also has programmable soft-start, adjustable operating frequency, and peak current limit.
