LTM4650A Dual 25A or Single 50A DC/DC Module Regulator with 1% DC Accuracy FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Dual 25A or Single 50A Output The LTM 4650A is a dual 25A or single 50A output switching n Input Voltage Range: 4.5V to 16V mode step-down DC/DC Module (micromodule) regula- n tor with 1% total DC output error. Included in the package Output Voltage Range: 0.6V to 5.5V n are the switching controllers, power FETs, inductors and 1% Maximum Total DC Output Error Over Line, all supporting components. Operating from an input volt- Load and Temperature n age range of 4.5V to 16V, the LTM4650A supports two Higher Light Load Efficiency and Wider V Range OUT outputs with an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5.5V, each Than LTM4650-1 set by a single external resistor. Its high efficiency design n Differential Remote Sense Amplifier delivers up to 25A continuous current for each output. n Current Mode Control/Fast Transient Response Fast internal control loop compensation allows for fast n Multiphase Parallel Current Sharing Up to 300A transient response to minimize output capacitance when n Internal Temperature Monitor powering FPGAs, ASICs, and processors. n Pin Compatible with the LTM4620A (Dual 13A, Single 26A) and LTM4630A (Dual 18A, Single 36A) Fault protection features include overvoltage and over- n Adjustable Switching Frequency or Synchronization current protection. The LTM4650A is offered in 16mm n Overcurrent Foldback Protection 16mm 4.41mm LGA and16mm 16mm 5.01mm n Selectable Burst Mode Operation, Pulse-Skipping BGA packages.
