MAX6509/MAX6510 Resistor-Programmable SOT Temperature Switches General Description Features The MAX6509/MAX6510 are fully integrated, resistor- 0.5C Threshold Accuracy programmable temperature switches with thresholds set 4.7C (max) Threshold Accuracy (-40C to +125C) by an external resistor. They require only one external Temperature Threshold Set by a 1% External resistor to set the temperature threshold within a wide Resistor -40C to +125C temperature range. The MAX6509 pro- Set-Hot or Set-Cold Option vides an open-drain output. The MAX6510 features three selectable output options: active-low, active-high, and Low 32A Supply Current open drain with an internal pull-up resistor. Open-Drain, Push-Pull Outputs These switches operate with a +2.7V to +5.5V single Open-Drain with Internal Pull-Up Resistor supply while providing a temperature threshold accuracy Pin-Selectable 2C or 10C Hysteresis of 0.5C (typ) or 4.7C (max). They typically consume SOT23 Packages 32A supply current. Hysteresis is pin selectable to 2C or 10C. The MAX6509/MAX6510 re available in 5-pin and 6-pin Ordering Information SOT23 packages, respectively.
