Electronics Tech (CJ):The BT136 is an extensively used, two-way thyristor chip with 600V capability, manufactured by Changjiang Electronics Tech (CJ). It has the following features: • Practical maximum rating of 600V for inductive and capacitive loads, with wide range gate triggering sensitivity • TO-220-3 package • High peak off-state voltage (VDRM) rating • Silicon controlled rectifier structure with an isolated common gate terminal • Robust construction • High reliability • RoHS compliant The BT136 can be used for variety of applications in motor control and household appliances, including motor starters, equipment control, lamp control, and more. It has an excellent surge capability and is a popular choice for snubber and protection circuits.
