The ZIRM38NL-7 is an infrared (IR) receiver module with an integrated three-pin through-hole design manufactured by Chau Light. The component operates by using the IR signal emitted from remote controllers from up to 10 meters away and converting it to electrical signals. The device is RoHS compliant and is designed for applications requiring reliability and durability in remote control applications. It also has low power consumption and can be used for signal receiving circuits. The device is capable of detecting 38 KHz modulating frequency and can operate within a -25 to 70 degree Celsius temperature range. The module also includes a ceramic antenna and a sensitivity potentiometer.
