The CR5842 SOP-8 AC-DC Controllers & Regulators ROHS is a highly integrated, cost-effective constant off-time integrated switch controller with an internal oscillator suitable for DC/DC converter applications over a wide range of operating conditions. It is designed to regulate power supply output voltage and current in AC/DC converter applications with ultra-low noise. It can also be used to regulate the step-up, step-down and whether the inverting operations. The device features overvoltage protection, current limiting, temperature protection, and overcurrent protection functions. It also has an output voltage tracking pin to disconnect the IC and capacitor in case of overvoltage, overcurrent or over temperature. It is RoHS compliant and manufactured by Chip-Rail.
