The AP5056 is a battery management PMIC with SOP-8_EP_150mil RoHS package manufactured by Chipown. It is a fully integrated, multi-chemistry power and battery management IC, designed for single-cell Li-Ion, Li-FePO4 or Li-polymer battery power solutions. This device provides a complete solution by integrating maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control, charging, battery protection, and monitoring in one package. It features programmable over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and discharge current protection, as well as an output voltage balancing system. The AP5056 also includes I2C interface and programmable fault management that can be customized for each application. In addition, this device is AEC-Q100 and UL60950 certified, making it ideal for automotive, consumer, and industrial applications.
