AH289 HIGH VOLTAGE HALL-EFFECT SMART FAN MOTOR CONTROLLER Features General Description AH289 is a monolithic fan motor controller with Hall sensors On Chip Hall Sensor capability. It contains two complementary open-drain transistors Rotor-Locked Shutdown for motors coil driving, an automatic lock current shutdown, and Automatically Restart recovery protection. In addition, the Rotor-State Detection (RD) Rotor-State Detection (RD) Output output is for Rotor-State Detection. Built-in Zener Protection for Output Driver Operating Voltage: 3.8V~28V Rotor-lock shutdown detection circuit turns off the output driver Output Current: I = 400mA O (AVE) when the rotor is blocked to avoid coil overheat. Then, the Lead Free Package: SOT89-5L (Note 1) automatic recovery circuit will restart the motor. These protected SOT89-5L: Available in Green Molding Compound actions are repeated and periodic during the blocked period. Until (No Br, Sb) the blocking is removed, the motor recovers and runs normally.
