The AP3983BMTR-G1 is a 6W adapter solution AC/DC PSR Switcher designed by Diodes Incorporated. It is a 4-channel multi-phase converter module that operates from a single input voltage and provides a single output. It features a DC/DC controller with auto-start, variable frequency, and integrated power step down switching. The device also includes a synchronous buck converter and integrated power MOSFETs. It is designed to meet energy saving and efficiency requirements for USB Type C PD applications with an input range from 5V to 24V and an adjustable average output current of up to 3A. It also has a wide range of protection features such as over temperature protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, over voltage protection, and under voltage protection. The AP3983BMTR-G1 also features a low profile of just 5.7mm and offers excellent EMI performance.
