APX809S/810S 3-PIN MICRO POWER VOLTAGE DETECTOR Description Pin Assignments The APX809S/810S are used for microprocessor (P) supervisory circuits to monitor the power supplies in P and digital systems. They (Top View) (Top View) provide excellent circuit reliability and low cost by eliminating external components and adjustments when used with +5V, +3.3V, +3.0V and 2 RESET/ 2 GND +2.5V powered circuits. RESET These circuits perform a single function: they assert a reset signal V 3 CC V 3 CC whenever the V supply voltage declines below a preset threshold, CC keeping it asserted for at least 240ms after V has risen above the CC 1 GND 1 RESET/ reset threshold. Reset thresholds suitable for operation with a variety RESET of supply voltages are available. The APX809S/810S have push pull outputs. The APX809S has an active low output, while the SOT23 (SA) SOT23 (SR) RESET APX810S has an active high RESET output. The reset comparator is designed to ignore fast transients on V , and the outputs are CC Applications guaranteed to be in the correct logic state for V down to 1V. Low CC Computers supply current makes the APX809S/810S ideal for use in portable Controllers equipment. The APX809S/810S is available in a 3-pin SOT23 Intelligent Instruments package.
