.The SDT10A45P5-13 is a Schottky rectifier manufactured by Diodes Incorporated. It consists of two electrodes, one anode and one cathode, forming a rectifying junction. The rectification process occurs within the Schottky diode which is a solid-state device characterized by a low forward voltage drop, and fast switching speed. It performs well in extreme low and high temperatures due to its low thermal resistance and low forward voltage operation. The Schottky diode also features low leakage current making it ideal for power circuit protection applications. The SMD package of the unit allows for easy mounting on the PCBs. It is capable of withstanding surge currents up to 68A and produces a voltage drop of 0.45V at 10A. It is intended for use in various power switching circuits such as in transducers, inductive heating, power supplies, as well as DC/DC converters.
