The SMBJ120CA is a surface mount device (SMB) Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) designed and manufactured by Dowo for overvoltage protection. It is constructed using a silicon Avalanche diode that is configured for bidirectional supply voltage, making it suitable for use in both unidirectional and bidirectional applications. It provides a dual role of ESD protection and unloaded overvoltage protection, and has an Ultra Low Breakdown Voltage rating of 12 Volts. It meets MIL-STD-750G requirements for ESD protection and is RoHS compliant. This device is supplied in the industry standard DO-214AA package.
