The EG4318 with PMIC - Battery Management DIP-8 RoHS is an 8-pin, surface mount, dual-channel, battery monitoring and power management integrated circuit (PMIC) made by EG. It is designed to monitor up to two external Li-Ion or Li-Polymer cells of up to 4.2 V each, and includes power path management, system voltage and current protection, and cell balancing. The integrated protection and system monitoring features help to provide maximum safety and battery life. The package is RoHS compliant and a slim, low-profile design (only 1.2 mm thick) to help with thermal management and reduce the footprint in space-constrained designs.
