The EG8030 is an integrated dual-gate and inverter device manufactured by EG in a 44-pin Low-Profile Quad Flat Package (LQFP-44) and is compliant with the RoHS directive. It offers a wide range of functions including voltage control, frequency control, soft-start, current limiting, over-voltage protection, and inrush current protection. The device provides two independently programmable dual-gate and two independent inverters and can be used in a variety of applications such as dc to dc converters, LED drivers and other power supplies. It also features an integrated voltage supervisor and programmable watchdog timer. It has a wide 6.1V to 18V input voltage range and can operate up to a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
