The Fujitsu MB85RS2MTPF-G-JNERE2 is a non-volatile Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FRAM) chip with 2 Mb (256K x 8) capacity, housed in an 8-PIN plastic Small Outline Package (SOP-8)(208 mil). It operates on an SPI bus and is compliant with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive, meaning its lead-free (Pb) material composition contains no hazardous substances. The MB85RS2MTPF-G-JNERE2 provides superior write/erase cycles, increased endurance and data retention as well as replacing used for EEPROM and SRAM products with a single device thanks to its high-speed operation and low power consumption.
