The 1N5399 general purpose diode is a DO-15 diode package made by GD Semiconductor. It is a 1kV, 1.5A, and 1.4V device rated at 1.5A and designed for general purpose applications. It is RoHS compliant and has a forward voltage of 1.4V @ 1.5A, with a reverse voltage rating of 1kV. This diode is also known as a 30A Silicon Rectifier and can be used to rectify, protect, block, or clamp circuits.
