The LM2576M-12/TR is a voltage regulator manufactured by HGSEMI in SOP8 RoHS configuration. It is a high-performance, low-noise, low-dropout, step-down, DC-DC converter designed to accept input voltages from 4.5V to 22V, and provide an output voltage of 12V with up to 1.5A of output current. The high conversion efficiency gives a power loss as low as 0.84W and eliminates the need for external heat sinks. The circuit also features thermal shutdown and current-limit protection for extra reliability for your application.
