The UC3843N is a 8-pin, RoHS-compliant, adjustable frequency, duty cycle, step-up switching controller with integrated driver transistors. It is designed for DC-DC converters requiring low startup stand-by current, low quiescent current, low drift, and ability to cope with a wide input voltage range. The UC3843N provides protection functions against overvoltage, overload, and is equipped with an internal temperature shut down feature.
