The Hirschmann MLSWG100/2.5RT is a managed Ethernet switch that can be used for Ethernet connectivity. It has 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 SFP slots for fiber optic connections, 4 PoE-out ports for PoE devices, and a 2.5 Gbps port for uplinking higher speeds. The switch offers up to 30W per port for powering PoE-enabled devices and offers both Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing. On top of these features, the switch offers an array of security features, such as VLANs, port lockdown, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and IP Source Guard. It is a part of the Hirschmann Industrial ExSwitch Series.
