The HT6506ARZ with SOP8 RS-485/RS-422 ICs is an integrated circuit (IC) manufactured by HTCSEMI. It is used for RS-485/RS-422 communications and complies with the RoHS standards for environmental protection. This particular IC contains two transceivers with drivers and receivers, allowing it to power and receive RS-485/RS-422 communication without the need of an additional IC. It also features an integrated ESD protection, as well as 25MBps data rate and 256 byte FIFO buffer. The IC is only available in an 8-pin (SOP8) package.
