Technologies.The IR4428SPBF is a four-channel, unipolar half-bridge gate driver integrated circuit (IC) designed for driving N-channel power MOSFETs and IGBTs used in DC/AC inverter, and motor drive applications. It belongs to the ‘Richardson’ family of gate drivers.Features of the IR4428SPBF include:• 4 high speed high current gate driver channels• Separate inversion control and under-voltage protection for each channel • Protective shutdown for floating channels, activating shutdown if a short-circuit between drain and source is detected • Active phase-shootthrough protection • Internal common mode feedback (CMF) for improved common-mode stability • Low quiescent current of 4mA in active condition • Wide input supply voltage range from 4.5V to 18V • Output defaults to low at turn-on • Low output-to-output capacitance switching • Automotive-grade quality compliant with the AEC-Q100 standard
