Additional Infomation About Product

The MOC3061 is a 6-pin isolator made by Isocom Components Ltd. It is an opto-isolator with zero-crossing detector designed specifically for interfacing between logic circuits and triac-switched loads. It is an ideal component for use in applications like dimmers, soft-start circuits, temperature controllers, relays, thermostats and variable speed drives. With its high-speed switching capabilities and its opto-isolator design, the MOC3061 is able to safely and accurately switch triac-controlled loads while helping to prevent any ground loop problems. Additionally, its output rating of 8A RMS on AC makes it well-suited for controlling AC loads.
