PD2401 AC Solid State Relays INTEGRATED CIRCUITS DIVISION Description Parameter Rating Units The PD2401 is an AC Solid State Switch using optical AC Operating Voltage 240 V rms coupling with dual power SCR outputs to produce an Load Current 1 A rms alternative to optocoupler and Triac circuits. The On-State Voltage Drop 1.2 V rms PD2401 switches are robust enough to provide a (I =1A ) L rms blocking voltage of up to 500V and max surge P current rating of 20A. In addition, tightly controlled zero-cross circuitry ensures switching of AC loads Features without the generation of transients. The input and Load Current up to 1A rms output circuits are optically coupled to provide Blocking Voltages up to 500V P 3750V of isolation and noise immunity between 3750V Input to Output Isolation rms rms control and load circuits. As a result the PD2401 5mA Sensitivity is well suited for industrial environments where Zero-Crossing Detection electromagnetic interference would disrupt the DC Control, AC Output operation of electromechanical relays.
