PS1201 AC Power Switch INTEGRATED CIRCUITS DIVISION Description Parameter Rating Units The PS1201 is an AC Solid State Switch using optical AC Operating Voltage 120 V rms coupling with dual power SCR outputs to produce an Load Current 1 A rms alternative to optocoupler and Triac circuits. The On-State Voltage Drop 1.2 V rms PS1201 switches are robust enough to provide a (I =1A ) L rms blocking voltage of up to 400V and max surge P current rating of 20A. In addition, tightly controlled Features zero-cross circuitry ensures switching of AC loads Load Current up to 1A (3A with heat sink) rms rms without the generation of transients. The input and Blocking Voltages up to 400V P output circuits are optically coupled to provide 5mA Sensitivity 3750V of isolation and noise immunity between rms Zero-Crossing Detection control and load circuits.
