PS2601 AC Power Switch INTEGRATED CIRCUITS DIVISION Description Parameter Rating Units The PS2601 is an AC Solid State Switch using optical AC Operating Voltage 260 V rms coupling with dual power SCR outputs to produce an Load Current 1 A rms alternative to optocoupler and Triac circuits. The On-State Voltage Drop 1.2 V rms PS2601 switches are robust enough to provide a (I =1A ) L rms blocking voltage of up to 600V and max surge P current rating of 20A. In addition, tightly controlled zero-cross circuitry ensures switching of AC loads Features without the generation of transients. The input and Load Current up to 1A (3A with heat sink) rms rms output circuits are optically coupled to provide Blocking Voltages up to 600V P 3750V of isolation and noise immunity between 5mA Sensitivity rms control and load circuits. As a result the PS2601 Zero-Crossing Detection is well suited for industrial environments where DC Control, AC Output electromagnetic interference would disrupt the Optically Isolated operation of electromechanical relays.
