The 1SMB5946B Zener Diodes with SMB (DO-214AA) shaped plastic body encapsulation, RoHS, is a newer surface mount assembly device manufactured by Jingdao, the electronics specialist. It uses a low-cost, high-performance, low-power double-diffused silicon Zener diode designed for a variety of voltage regulation and new circuit designs requiring reverse-biased current limiting and low-noise switching regulation. This device is rated with a power rating of 500mW at a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a max DC reverse voltage of 30V. It features a low and tight zener voltage tolerance of 5% and a low dynamic impedance rating of 0.7Ohms on the standard zener breakdown region and 1.25Ohms on the performance grade. Package includes standard zener element, standard pinout and emitter terminals. It is offered in all-plastic (plastic encapsulation material commonly used for SMD) or copper/alloy hermetic package plating for superior thermal performance.
