The SN7812D is a linear voltage regulator manufactured by Kodenshi and packaged in the TO-252-3L RoHS form. It is a three-terminal voltage regulator with output current capability of up to 1.5 A, an output voltage range of 1.2 to 12 V and an input voltage range of 4.5 to 20 V. The line and load regulation is 0.3% and 0.5%, respectively, and the dropout voltage is 0.55 V (max). It features low noise operation, thermal and short-circuit protection, and is RoHS compliant.
