The SR-5R2 is a hybrid direct drive motor released by Kollmorgen in 2019. It is a low-voltage, four-phase motor that offers high torque density, high rigidity, and fast speed control with a wide range of frame sizes. It can also be integrated into a variety of applications such as robotics, machine tools, and medical equipment. The motor features a high pole-count and a winding inductance suitable for low speed, high torque requirements. It has low thermal resistance and a vast range of power capabilities. Furthermore, the SR-5R2 is resistant to shock, vibration, and external interference, and is compatible with modern motor control systems.
