It has an organized 256K, 32K x 8 configuration and has an operating voltage of 2.7V. The device features a low-power CMOS technology and a 2.7V supply voltage. It has an SPI/QSPI/ Microwire/DSP interface for high-speed data communication. It features advanced accessing techniques such as page-mode, sequence-mode and the deep power-down mode. The device also has extensive error detection and fault protection measures including programmable write protect and self-timed write cycles with data auto-save.
