Additional Infomation About Product

Microchip's LAN7801/9JX is a single-channel, self-powered USB 2.0 to 10/100/1000 Ethernet controller. It is designed for small form factor applications and enables a simple, low-cost device solution for adding high-speed wired Ethernet connectivity to embedded systems. This device has a 2-wire and 16-bit MII or RMII interface, and it supports IEEE 802.3, FLOW CONTROL, and CSMA/CD protocols. It also features power select pins which allow external devices to power the LAN7801/9JX instead of relying on the USB connection, and enables the device to continue to operate even when the USB power is temporarily lost. The LAN7801/9JX supports both full and half-duplex transmission and can automatically detect the speed of an attached link partner. It includes an integrated packet buffer of 512 bytes and a configurable energy detection threshold depending on cable length. This device is also RoHS-compliant and WEEE-compliant.
