Additional Infomation About Product

The MCP1642B-33I/MC switching voltage regulator is an adjustable high-frequency step-up DC/DC converter manufactured by Microchip. It has an adjustable output voltage range from 0.8V to 3.3V and can deliver up to 1.6A of output current. The switch frequency is set to 1MHz to minimize external component size, while its high efficiency, up to 92%, minimizes power losses. Built-in safety features such as Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO) and Thermal Shutdown (TSD) protect the unit from common sources of fault and protect the load from excessive current and voltage. The MCP1642B-33I/MC is also capable of operation in pulse-skipping mode with no minimum off-time, allowing for ultra-low output ripple voltage. Additionally, included options such as Power-Good output and Soft-Start can help further reduce output transients. Pre-Biased loads are supported as well, offering a plug-and-play experience.
