The constant voltage - Selectable Voltage Threshold regulation is fixed with four available options: 4.20V, Automatic End-of-Charge Control 4.35V, 4.40V, or 4.50V, to accomodate new, emerging - Selectable Current Threshold battery charging requirements. The constant current value is set with one external resistor. The MCP73833/ - Selectable Safety Time Period 4 limits the charge current based on die temperature Automatic Recharge during high power or high ambient conditions. This - Selectable Voltage Threshold thermal regulation optimizes the charge cycle time Two Charge Status Outputs while maintaining device reliability.
