MIC5330 Dual 300mA Cap LDO in 2mm x 2mm MLF General Description Features The MIC5330 is a tiny Dual Ultra Low Dropout 2.3V to 5.5V input voltage range (ULDO) linear regulator ideally suited for portable Ultra low dropout voltage ULDO 75mV 300mA electronics due to its high power supply ripple High PSRR - >70dB 1KHz rejection (PSRR) and ultra low output noise. The Ultra-low output noise: 30V RMS MIC5330 integrates two high performance 300mA ULDOs into a tiny 2mm x 2mm leadless MLF 2% initial output accuracy package, which provides exceptional thermal package Tiny 8-pin 2mm x 2mm MLF leadless package characteristics. Excellent Load/Line transient response The MIC5330 is a Cap design which enables Fast start up time: 30s operation with very small ceramic output capacitors 300mA output current per LDO for stability, thereby reducing required board space Thermal shutdown protection and component cost. The combination of extremely low drop out voltage, high power supply rejection and Low quiescent current: 75A per output exceptional thermal package characteristics makes it Current limit protection ideal for powering RF/noise sensitive circuitry, cellular phone camera modules, imaging sensors for digital still cameras, PDAs, MP3 players and WebCam Applications applications. Mobile phones The MIC5330 ULDO is available in fixed output voltages in the tiny 8-pin 2mm x 2mm leadless MLF PDAs package which occupies less than half the board area GPS receivers of a single SOT-6 package.
