The PIC18F8520-I/PT is a Flash-Based 8-bit Microcontroller manufactured by Microchip Technology. It is part of the PIC18F family of microcontrollers, and is based on a PIC18F8520 core. This device comes in a 40-lead TQFP package. It operates up to 40 MHz, with up to 16K words of Flash and has 256 bytes of EEPROM. It has various timer/counters, hardware multi-tasking capabilities, peripheral functions and analog modules, including three comparators with TED threshold detection, an 8-channel 10-bit A/D converter, a high-current sink/source 25 mA/25 mA output compare and three capture/compare modules. It includes a 6-channel direct memory access (DMA) controller, as well as an 8-level hardware stack and seven flexible interrupt sources.
