The RN42N-I/RM477 is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module from Microchip. This module supports both the Master and Slave roles, and provides standardized interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C and USB. The module is based on the RN42 Bluetooth 4.1 module, but supports BLE and also has higher output power. The RN42N-I/RM477 supports data speeds up to 2 Mbps, has a maximum range of up to 100 meters, and can run on either 3.3 or 5 volts.
