The USB5906/KD is a USB 2.0 High-Speed Switch from Microchip. This device features two USB 2.0 ports that support data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps. It also features over-current protection, ESD protection, and high bus current, making it the ideal choice for automotive and industrial applications. The USB5906/KD's powered ports can be used to provide power from one port to the other or to power an externally-powered USB device. It also features optional low-power standby mode to conserve power when not in use. The switch is compatible with all major operating systems.
