The MP1591DN-LF-Z with Switching Voltage Regulators 2A 32V 330kHz Step-Down Converter from Monolithic Power Systems is a high-performance step-down switching voltage regulator that can provide up to 2A continuous output current at output voltages as low as 0.8V. The device includes internal synchronous rectification for high efficiency and a low power sleep mode to maximize battery life. Its low 330kHz switching frequency allows the use of small inductors, reducing board space and cost. The operating voltage of the device can be as high as 32V, allowing it to be used in automotive, industrial and other high-voltage applications. The MP1591DN-LF-Z is available in a small surface mount package.
