It achieves up Up to 2 A Programmable Charging Current to 2A charge current with current mode control for fast loop response and easy compensation. 0.75% V Accuracy BATT The charge current can be programmed by 0.2 Internal Power MOSFET Switch sensing the current through an accurate sense Up to 90% Efficiency resistor. Fixed 600kHz Frequency Preconditioning for Fully Depleted Batteries MP2612 regulates the charge current and Charging Operation Indicator charge voltage using two control loops to Input Supply and Battery Fault Indicator realize high accuracy CC charge and CV Thermal Shutdown charge. Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection Fault condition protection includes cycle- by- Battery Temperature Monitor and Protection cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. Other safety features include battery temperature APPLICATIONS monitoring, charge status indication and Distributed Power Systems programmable timer to finish the charging cycle. Chargers for 2-Cell or 3-Cell Li-Ion Batteries The MP2612 requires a minimum number of Pre-Regulator for Linear Regulators readily available standard external components.
