MP28275 7V, 5A, 1.1MHz Synchronous Step-down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP28275 is a high frequency synchronous 4.5V to 7V Operating Input Range rectified step-down switch mode converter with 5A Output Current built-in internal power MOSFETs. It offers a Low R (ON) Internal Power MOSFETs DS very compact solution to achieve 5A continuous Proprietary Switching Loss Reduction output current with excellent load and line Technique regulation. The MP28275 operates at high Fixed 1.1MHz Switching Frequency efficiency over a wide output current load range. Sync from 300kHz to 2MHz External Clock Internal Compensation Current mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Thermal Shutdown Over-Current-Protection and Hiccup Full protection features include OCP and thermal Output Adjustable from 0.8V shut down. Available in 3x4mm QFN14 Package The MP28275 requires a minimum number of APPLICATIONS readily available standard external components and is available in a space saving 3mm x 4mm Notebook Systems and I/O Power 14-pin QFN package.
