MP4558 1A, 2MHz, 55V Step-Down Converter DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP4558 is a high-frequency, step-down Wide 3.8V-to-55V Operating Input Range switching regulator with an integrated internal 250m Internal Power MOSFET high-side high-voltage power MOSFET. It Up to 2MHz Programmable Switching provides up to a 1A output with current-mode Frequency control for fast loop response and easy 140A Quiescent Current compensation. Stable with Ceramic Capacitors Internal Soft-Start The wide 3.8V-to-55V input range accommodates Up to 95% Efficiency a variety of step-down applications, including automotive input. A 12A shutdown-mode supply Output Adjustable from 0.8V to 52V current makes it suitable for battery-powered Available in SOIC8E and 3mm x 3mm applications. QFN10 Packages A scaled-down switching frequency in light-load APPLICATIONS conditions provides high power-conversion High-Voltage Power Conversion efficiency over a wide load range while reducing Automotive Systems switching and gate driver losses.
