MP4566 36V, 1MHz, 0.6A Step-Down Converter With 35 A Quiescent Current The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP4566 is a high frequency (1MHz) step- 35A Quiescent Current down switching regulator with integrated Low Shutdown Mode Current: <2 A internal high-side high voltage power MOSFET. Wide 4.5V to 36V Operating Input Range It provides single 0.6A (or less) highly efficient 450m Internal Power MOSFET output with current mode control for fast loop Fixed 1MHz Switching Frequency response. Internally compensated Stable with Ceramic Output Capacitors The wide 4.5V to 36V input range accommodates a variety of step-down Internal Soft-Start applications in automotive input environment. Precision Current Limit Without Current The very low shutdown mode quiescent current Sensing Resistor allows use in battery-powered applications. High Light Load Efficiency up to 77% at 1mA High power conversion efficiency over a wide +1.0V FB Reference Voltage load range is achieved by scaling down the Output Adjustable from +1.0V to 0.8xV IN switching frequency at light load condition to 2mmx3mm QFN8 Package reduce the switching and gate driving losses. Frequency fold-back helps prevent inductor APPLICATIONS current runaway during start-up.
