MP6528 5V to 60V, H-Bridge Gate Driver DESCRIPTION FEATURES Wide 5V to 60V Input Voltage Range The MP6528 is a gate driver IC designed for H- Charge Pump Gate Drive Supply bridge driver applications. It is capable of Bootstrap High-Side Driver with Trickle- driving two half-bridges consisting of four N- channel power MOSFETs up to 60V. Charge Circuit Supports 100% Duty Cycle Operation The MP6528 integrates a regulated charge Low-Power Sleep Mode pump to generate gate drive power, and uses a Programmable Short-Circuit Protection bootstrap capacitor to generate a supply Over-Current Protection voltage for the high-side MOSFET driver. An Adjustable Dead-Time Control to Prevent internal trickle-charge circuit maintains sufficient Shoot-Through high-side gate driver voltage even when an Thermal Shutdown and UVLO Protection output is operated at 100% duty cycle. Fault Indication Output Internal protection features include Thermally Enhanced Surface Mount programmable short-circuit protection, over- Package current protection, adjustable dead-time control, undervoltage lockout, and thermal shutdown. APPLICATIONS The MP6528 is available in a QFN-28 DC Brush Motors (4mmx4mm) package with an exposed thermal Automotive Actuators pad.
