MPQ4415A 1.5A, 36V, 2.2MHz, High-Efficiency, Synchronous, Step-Down Converter AEC-Q100 Qualified DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MPQ4415A is a high-frequency, Wide 4V to 36V Operating Input Range synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode 1.5A Continuous Load Current converter with built-in power MOSFETs. The 90m/50m Low R Internal Power DS(ON) MPQ4415A offers a very compact solution that MOSFETs achieves 1.5A of continuous output current with High-Efficiency Synchronous Mode excellent load and line regulation over a wide Operation input supply range. The MPQ4415A uses Default 2.2MHz Switching Frequency synchronous mode operation for higher 450kHz to 2.2MHz Frequency Sync efficiency over the output current load range. Forced Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) Current mode operation provides fast transient Internal Soft Start (SS) response and eases loop stabilization. Power Good (PG) Indicator Full protection features include over-current Over-Current Protection (OCP) with Valley- protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown. Current Detection and Hiccup The MPQ4415A requires a minimal number of Thermal Shutdown readily available, standard, external components Output Adjustable from 0.8V and is available in a space-saving QFN-13 CISPR25 Class 5 Compliant (2.5mmx3mm) package. Available in a QFN-13 (2.5mmx3mm) Package Available in a Wettable Flank Package Available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1 APPLICATIONS Automotive Industrial Control Systems Medical and Imaging Equipment Telecom Applications Distributed Power Systems All MPS parts are lead-free, halogen free, and adhere to the RoHS directive.
