CP89-1 is a section of Newark, New Jersey. It is located in the Central Ward of the city and is bordered by Springfield Avenue to the west, Mt. Prospect Avenue to the east, Lyons Avenue to the north, and South Orange Avenue to the south. The area was once an industrial area, but has now transformed into a mainly residential area featuring tree-lined streets and well-maintained homes.
