The Nexperia 74HCT595DB.112 is an 8-bit shift register with output latches, designed for high-speed operation, low-power consumption and small PCB area. The pins are organized into data, clock, latch and output enable controls. It is designed to convert serial data into 8-bit parallel data and is a multiplexing type register. It features 3-state outputs allowing multiple outputs to be connected together without the need for external logic. It is ideal for applications requiring data transmission and conversion such as data and address multiplexing. It is rated to operate with up to 6V of power, making it compatible with a variety of logic circuits.
