956 The NTE956 is an integrated circuit (IC) manufactured by NTE Electronics for use in a wide variety of electronic applications. This 8-pin DIP, or dual in-line package, device is a silicon NPN transistor designed for use as an amplifier, switch, or other type of circuit building block. The NTE956 is designed for supply voltages up to 25 volts DC and features a range of current gains (hFE) from 100 to 500, depending on the collector current. Internal protection circuitry helps protect the device from over-voltage and over-current.
